All we can say is.. YOU WON'T REGRET IT 😍 Our food was fantastic! The Chicago-Style Deep Dish Pizza Pies are the best! So fresh & saucy! Bursting with flavour & exactly what we were missing in Glasgow 🍕 all the sides were fab, the mac & cheese was bloody brilliant 🧀🤤 if you want fresh, messy, filthy scran, THUNDERCAT is where it's at 😍 P.S. That Banana & Nutella waffle was heaven 🤤<br />

“Osteria” an Italian restaurant, typically a simple or inexpensive one. We had the delight of ordering this last week. 🇮🇹<br />

“Funghi Fritti” mushrooms 🍄 coated in crispy golden breadcrumbs stuffed with cheese, served with garlic mayo. Not going to lie when I opened the box I thought the presentation wasn’t great. Once I took a bite however I was totally sold. This was crispy and the mushroom was so juicy & not dried out at all & with the added cheese I would definitely order again. I think it would be better presented in a box for takeaway with some rocket and lemon slices.<br />

“Spaghetti Frutti Di Mare” 🍝 served with a mix of fresh Scottish fish & seafood in a white wine sauce! 🐟 I totally loved this it was so creamy, loved the prawns and mussels (although I did leave aside the Calamari as I just can’t bring myself to like that, too rubbery 😐)<br />

“Pollo Milanese” is a traditional breaded chicken breast served on classic Penne Arrabbiata. We had this in Milan and it was very similar, very authentic! 👍🏻<br />

“Garlic Focaccia” well it’s a simple Italian bread, well seasoned & it didn’t look amazing but it did taste great!<br />

Overall @osteriaglasgow does what it says on the tin! A few presentation issues, but its difficult to translate that wow factor with a home delivery. That small issue aside it tasted lovely and we will definitely be popping in soon for a dine in experience!<br />

One thing that can be taken from this crazy time is, it's fair to say we have all ventured out a little further, taking longer walks, cycling & jogging has taken off majorly. We have rented the @nextbikeuk bikes quite a few times and ventured off to the west end. Arriving in Finnieston - starving. We stumble across @the.brunch.club.gla<br />

Brunch is always a good idea, this venue offers boozy 🍸brunches when they are open which is something other brunch venues do not offer in the city. 💁🏻‍♂️I opted for the Smashed Avocado on Sourdough Toast, I added on Sausage & Poached Eggs. I loved the sausages they had a nice spice mixed through. This dish was ok but the avocado was mushy & had made the Sourdough a bit soggy. It was pleasant enough.<br />

Fast forward two weeks and we order a home delivery. This time I ordered the Halloumi Fries - Just wow! I’ve had many a loaded fries on a Sun but this is one of the nicest I’ve ever had. If you love Halloumi cheese it’s a must! The other dish I had was the Waffles, Chicken & Maple Syrup. The Waffle was plain & I think a sugar/cinnamon coating would bring this to life a bit more . It was a huge serving! The chicken was decent & I did go back to it later, so I did enjoy it.<br />

The Brunch Club is definitely worth checking out, especially when they open back up to serve cocktails with their food as nobody else does this that we know of! The front of house staff are also a very pleasant & trendy bunch!<br />

One of our followers sent us a snapshot recently from @lewiscapaldi story saying that his cousin had opened up a new burger 🍔 venue and we thought oooo we will defo check that out 💯 We love Lewis, his music and even more so his hilarious insta posts so thought, how fab! What other amazing things can the Capaldi heritage throw at us?<br />

When we first looked at their website we thought it looked very much like another famous Chicken Burger establishment in G-Town. Even down to the menu there are similarities. The food critic in me wanted to say well it’s just not as good but that would be a big fat lie!<br />

We were pleasantly surprised at the unique take on the flavours which are different to other places. The quality of fried chicken is a unique blend but still beautifully crisp and accompanied with original sauces.<br />

We opted for Poppers (no not those ones 👃🤣) beautiful bite sized chicken bits of heaven served in the original karma kola sauce. For those who have not tried @karmadrinks it is the most beautiful Kola, a spicier take and I order it everytime from @spitfireglasgow to wash down many a brunch. It’s already one of my fave drinks so they really had my heart when I saw this 💙 Stunning! Therefore, it would be rude not to try the Karma Wings, marinated in karma kola sauce, topped with crunchy shallots, coriander aioli and toasted sesame seeds. Cherry 🍒 on the cake 🍰<br />

Our burgers were the OG Burger which was marinated chicken, cheese, pickle, lettuce, coriander, aioli served on a toasted brioche bun. The other burger was the Buffalo Burger which I had and it was buffalo sauce, marinated chicken, aioli, blue cheese crumble. Pickled celery served on a brioche bun! Now we’re talking, this was right up my street with loads of contrasting flavours.<br />

It would be nice to see some extra additions to the menu like seasoned fries! I’m sure this place will do amazing. It’s actually very well thought out and executed. @mcflys_wings<br />
