The Golf Bar offers a great mix of an intimate cocktail bar area, and amazing (recently upgraded) golf and shooting simulator machines.

There perfect bar food, great cocktails, and it's the perfect place to have fun with friends or a partner with the amazing sim experiences.

We love the small plates idea, they are packed with flavour & good quality! The olives were the best we had tasted in a while! 🕵️‍♀️ The Halloumi Kebab was really unique & I loved the watermelon, so refreshing 😍

Mr Diner enjoyed his Korean Spare Ribs, defo a messy lil' number 😂 we both tried the Crunchy Chicken Bau Bun.. LOVED IT! Right up our street, the chicken was fab 😍

We had a cheeky lil' cocktail each 🍸🍹An Espresso Martini & a Pornstar Martini 💃

Followed by a few double vods.. We couldn't help it 🤦‍♀️🤣

The beer garden is fab & the staff were so welcoming & chatty 😁 we met a lovely member of staff who loves our page 🥰 we get so happy hearing that people love what we do 😁

We are so in love with the Southside just now. Some great cafes & restaurants 🥳

Somewhere that’s been on our list for a while is the @restbattlefield since 1914, this was originally a resting place for Tram travellers. Very unique 👌

We had booked for a meal outside but with a sharp change in the weather ☔️ we asked for a seat indoors and they were very accommodating. The interior is vintage & it's got a warming feel to it 🥰

Starter “A Trio of Scotland” 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

“Haggis Polpette, Smoked Mackerel Pate, a spiced tomato chutney and black crowdie cheese crostini” - this was brilliant. I was so impressed with the flavours, textures and presentation.

Mains “Crab Linguine” 🦀

“Linguine tossed in garlic, chilli, lemon, spinach, red onion, cherry tomato and crab meat” - I loved the colours and presentation. I found this dish pleasant but a bit more chilli & lemon was needed for that extra kick. I ate the lot though so considered myself satisfied 😋

Starter 'Schiaccita Salsiccia'

Home baked pizza base, brushed with garlic, olive paste, topped with caramelized onions and Italian sausage.

I enjoyed my starter, great flavour from the onions & sausage. There was quite a lot of the crust, a little dip would be lovely to dunk the crusts into. (Love a dip me 😂)

Main 'Asparagus & Ricotta Ravioli'

Served with a creamy chicken, tarragon & asparagus sauce.

Side of Garlic Bread with Mozzarella

Really enjoyed my main, if you love a creamy pasta dish, then you'll be in heaven 😍 The cheesy g bread was perfect to dip into the sauce! Yum!

We also shared 'Antipasti for 2' we chose the meat one. It was good, we do feel it could be doing with some more of the meat, cheeses etc and some dipping accompaniments. There was only 1 slice of bread, maybe another 1 on there as it's 'for 2'.

Overall, I genuinely think the quality of the food here is really good & authentic! Just a few tweaks here & there to improve dishes/portions. Can't wait to try more!

Last nights launch event @meatjointsteakhouse was nothing short of spectacular 💖 so boujee & classy! We were met with the stunning sounds of the violin as soon as we walked in 🎻 we loved listening to the violinist play, such a talent! He played the best tunes 🎶

We have previously reviewed @meatjointsteakhouse and we were blown away, so we knew we were in for an absolute treat 😍 we cannot tell you how amazing the family are that own this restaurant! They are so lovely, humble & full of banter! Their 'Peaky Blinders' attire is right up our street, so smart & edgey 😍

Our food was utterly fabulous!!

Guuuuysss you ABSOLUTELY have to go here!! 🤤🤤 the croquettes were soft & fluffy with a gorgeous buttery mustard sauce! The meat is unbelievable!! Our steaks were cooked to perfection & the quality of the meat is to die for 🥩 those hand cut chips.. I want to eat them everyday for the rest of my life 🤣😍😍 the peppercorn sauce was so smooth & creamy! The cheese selection was the perfect way to finish off our tasty meal! Who doesn't love cheese?! 🧀 I had a beautiful glass of merlot to pair with the cheese.. 🍷🤤

The fizz was flowing 🥂🍾 ended up a bit tipsy (you know us 🤣) we had a couple of cocktails too which were completely spot on 🍸🍹

This venue is a MUST TRY!! Very high on our list of fantastic restaurants in Glasgow 😁 fabulous food, service & stunning venue! Oh & a quirky little thing that they do in the toilets.. They play Scottish comedians such as Billy Connolly, Kevin Bridges etc 🤣🤣 absolute class, your sitting howling in the toilet 🤣
