Glasgow is brimming with festive activities ideal for the whole family, and Glasgow Winterfest 2023 is a highlight of the season. Open until January 7, 2024, this year's event at George Square is receiving high praise.

Visitors are loving the a variety of attractions on offer, from festive rides (including one particularly scary / insane one) to an ice rink, and indulging in delicious treats like German hotdogs and cheese from the stalls.

The Ferris wheel and live music enhance the festive spirit. Our recent visit was a blast, and we're excited to return, especially to try the ice rink. Remember to follow Glasgow Winterfest on social media for updates.

We enjoyed loads of drinks, tasted those German hotdogs, and had a ride Ferris wheel getting all those great views across the square and did a bit of browsing round the stalls and picked up some lovely cheese ? and there was great live music on offer from the stall which is being organised by the Clutha Trust in partnership with M&N Events.

The music stage with performances from well-known Glasgow bands, the Clutha Trust Choir, and Clutha Kids. Local musicians are also invited to express their interest in performing. The charity aims to raise at least £50,000 through this initiative for their Power over Poverty project, intending to support 500 families with their utility bills over the Christmas period.

I will definitely be returning to try the ice rink! ? go! You will have a blast!
