🙋🏻‍♂️Writing this as I have just finished my brunch, looking up to a full capacity Singl-End in the Merchant City which has been a major hotspot for its Brunch Menu just as much as it’s afternoon/evening Italian menu. Entering I was really taken aback by the size of the place, tall ceilings an upstairs as well as a back room and pretty much a cake 🍰 shop at the front till. Bellissimo! The waitress sends me to a funky table with glass and Italian 🇮🇹 themed postcards inside which are interesting to look at – a very nice touch! On the walls, we can see it’s a Dog 🐶 Friendly venue and a commitment to Singl-Use products (get it?) 🌱 👍🏻 Taking it all in we have a trendy crowd of ladies who brunch, students and mature couples. The atmosphere is super friendly and the staff are all engaging with each other, laughing, enjoying what they do. It’s a fast-paced environment with a quick turn around and they all appear very switched on and having fun. 😁

Looking at the menu I am hungry but not overly. I see they do Full Breakfast 🙈🤣tempting but trying to be good so opt for the SingleEnd Eggs Florentine (two poached eggs on spinach and red onion, potato and savoy cabbage rosti, hollandaise sauce with a choice of bread so I select the Altamura which is the Italian option) Getting some goodness there but also a delicious choice. The eggs are perfect, I love the bread and balance of flavours. The potato and cabbage rosti was good but a little too salty for my taste. A great dish and don’t feel guilty until I go to leave and find it impossible to walk past the array of homemade baking that would get Mary Berry’s seal of approval. To take home I choose a Spiced Pear 🍐 and Cherry 🍒 Chocolate Loaf. To top it off the waitress said she loved my fragrance. This place has the feel-good factor and a great selection with value deals. Will most definitely be back. @singlend_merchantcity#glasgow#food#reviews#mysterydinersglasgow#instafood#italian#brunch#musttry#homebaking#eggsflorentine#coffee#dogfriendly#scotland#bloggers#iloveGLA#iloveglasgow
