One of our followers sent us a snapshot recently from @lewiscapaldi story saying that his cousin had opened up a new burger 🍔 venue and we thought oooo we will defo check that out 💯 We love Lewis, his music and even more so his hilarious insta posts so thought, how fab! What other amazing things can the Capaldi heritage throw at us?

When we first looked at their website we thought it looked very much like another famous Chicken Burger establishment in G-Town. Even down to the menu there are similarities. The food critic in me wanted to say well it’s just not as good but that would be a big fat lie!

We were pleasantly surprised at the unique take on the flavours which are different to other places. The quality of fried chicken is a unique blend but still beautifully crisp and accompanied with original sauces.

We opted for Poppers (no not those ones 👃🤣) beautiful bite sized chicken bits of heaven served in the original karma kola sauce. For those who have not tried @karmadrinks it is the most beautiful Kola, a spicier take and I order it everytime from @spitfireglasgow to wash down many a brunch. It’s already one of my fave drinks so they really had my heart when I saw this 💙 Stunning! Therefore, it would be rude not to try the Karma Wings, marinated in karma kola sauce, topped with crunchy shallots, coriander aioli and toasted sesame seeds. Cherry 🍒 on the cake 🍰

Our burgers were the OG Burger which was marinated chicken, cheese, pickle, lettuce, coriander, aioli served on a toasted brioche bun. The other burger was the Buffalo Burger which I had and it was buffalo sauce, marinated chicken, aioli, blue cheese crumble. Pickled celery served on a brioche bun! Now we’re talking, this was right up my street with loads of contrasting flavours.

It would be nice to see some extra additions to the menu like seasoned fries! I’m sure this place will do amazing. It’s actually very well thought out and executed. @mcflys_wings
