Delivery 🚚 Review
We were buzzing to try Halloumi after hearing good things and thrilled to see it pop up on Uber Eats. When the gorgeous bag arrived we were very excited, that was until we opened it up? 🙈
The portions were so disappointing. I ordered the Greek style Mac n Cheese (see pic) was barely 1cm off the foil. There was Halloumi cheese used in this which makes for a unique twist but there was an unusual herb mixed through which didn’t suit my taste. Not worth the money 👎🏻 My sweet potato burger was again quite petite and lacklustre. The potato pate was uninspired, although the Halloumi cheese was pleasant, it most certainly didn’t rock my world. The other half had chips and cheese and MELITZANOSALATA (GREEK EGGPLANT DIP). This came with Pittas. The dip was nice, the pittas were of a supermarket quality. We also had a Strawberry Mojito which was relatively nice.
One thing I can say is that the Halloumi cheese was delicious. The portions may suit a dine in experience, but not takeaway, as it’s maybe more Tapas Style and the price didn’t reflect what we received. @halloumiglasgow
