🙋🏻♂️I was very hungry the day after my works Xmas 🎄 night out so wanted something that would satisfy. This new Turkish venue on High St had been catching my eye for a while now. Replacing “Juicy Lucy’s” another Hamburger restaurant in an oversaturated market. This venue has a point of difference as Turkish food is very up and coming in the city. Every night I walk past and can see there is a growing number of customers through a much brighter and prettier display than the previous efforts. ✨
Entering i receive a warm welcome and I love the Turkish lights and what they have done with the place. The menu will be a bit unusual for new comers and there is a lot to choose from. Luckily I have Turkish friends and have spent some time in the capital of Ankara so had plenty of authentic Turkish style to know this is the real deal. I opt for the Lamb Kebab which was brought out with an amazing display with salad and mint yoghurt dressing. There was an extra serving of roasted onions in another lovely sauce. The rice was lovely too even though it looks a tad dry in the picture. That was all I had but the service was nice too and it’s a family run business. I will be back with friends to try more options.
