Ahhh the morning roll. What a beautiful sight 🤩 @cometpieces has been on our list for a while now. A firm favourite of foodies in Glasgow, we decided it was long overdue and to take a stroll to the west end to discover what was on offer here. ☀️

When we arrived there was a bit of a que of people waiting to collect. There is a QR code on the window of the shop so you have to order and pay on your mobile and they hand it out to you. We discovered that most people had ordered from the house and arranged a pick up time. This i would highly recommend instead of just turning up just now to guarantee your place as the website had stoped taking orders but they kindly served us when we sent them a DM on Insta - great service btw 👌

We were very hungry from our big walk so I ordered two rolls...

No.4️⃣Steak lorne, haggis, onions potato scone, free-range poached egg & Tapatio hot sauce. Served in Morton's crispy roll.

No.6️⃣Potato scone, cheesy scrambled eggs, sun-dried tomatoes & sriracha mayo. Served in Morton's crispy roll. (V)

These were outstanding! The rolls themselves were crispy to begin with but had been fried in a unique way to make them extra crispy but not too hard to chew - perfect 👌

The fillings are so boujee and I think the cheesy scrambled egg was delicious and I love the use of sauces that bring a unique flavour to each roll.

My friend opted for the Mac and Cheese and Fries which she let me share which were also a delight!
