The question we have been asking ourselves since visiting Cafe Gandolfi is.. WHY THE HELL HAVE WE NEVER BEEN HERE BEFORE?! 😮😂 We had the most attentive & friendly waitress, she happily answered any questions we had about the menu. The decor has a rather antique feel to it, we think it would be a perfect place to go on a cold, frosty night for a warming meal & a glass of vino 🍴🍷

Burrata, Black Fig, Savoury Granola, Crispy Sage & Honey, Lemon & Thyme Dressing.
Easily one of the best dishes I have ever eaten 🤤 The flavours were insane! Please make this a permanent dish 🙏 A must try!
Main - Peat Smoked Haddock, Crushed Potatoes, Mustard Cream, Poached Egg.
Really enjoyed this dish, the fish was so fresh! The poached egg worked really well with the fish 😍 The potatoes were lacking slightly in seasoning for me.

Isle of Barra Scallops, Chestnut Veloute, Smoked Bacon, Apple & Maple Syrup.
Scallops were perfectly cooked, full of flavour. Lovely smokey taste from the bacon & a slight sweetness from maple syrup 👌
Main - Pulled Ox Cheek, Charred Greens, Shallot Ash, Burnt Onion Emulsion.
We both had a taste of this as we had never tried ox cheek before.. YUM. So tender! Presented beautifully, such a tasty & warming dish 😍 the sourdough bread was a bit too crispy, quite difficult to bite into.
Miss Diner had to have a dessert 😛 Warm Caramel Shortcake with Isle of Arran Ice cream. HOLY HELL... AMAZING. Like seriously, the actual dream 🤤 making highly inappropriate noises with every mouthful 😛😂 that's when you know that its hit the spot!
