One of the most stunning places we have ever been, we spent 7 nights in Venice for New Year 2019. It is just one of those places you have to see, there is nowhere in the world like it! ❤️
We found some amazing places to eat and drink. Our highlight was Trattoria Alla Pallazina after reading such great reviews online. This was by far the best restaurant and we came here on our last evening. The wine - sublime! I had the Beef Fillet Steak covered in a Cheese Basket - honestly one of the best things I’ve ever eaten! It was the cosiest venue we visited and the best for food!
Some other highlights in Venice... 📍Harry’s Bar - The Home of the Venetian Peach Bellini, this venue is where this classic cocktail began. 🍹 The nicest Bellini you will ever have. Very posh and small venue. We didn’t try the food but worth a visit. 📍St Marks Square - There are various places to sit outside and have a coffee or a champagne 🥂. Bring your credit card though as it’s very expensive. €20 for two coffees 😱 📍Cafe Venezia- Head here for the traditional Italian Desserts such as Cannoli 📍Pasticceria La Donatella - This impressive Dessert shop was near our hotel and caught our eye. It was delish!
We did so much on this trip. We went to the opera, Murano Glass factory, visited Museums. It’s a stunning, cultured and romantic place. The only thing I would say is that there wasn’t much of a night life although we did forget to go to the Casino which was in James Bond - Casino Royale. Will need to head back for a visit!
